These tools were designed and created for Civic Center Commons in San Francisco, as part of an effort to understand the public space and public life. The approach was based on the methodology of Gehl (an urban design and research consultancy), led by a pioneer of public space work, Jan Gehl.

Developed with the guidance and support of Cassie Hoeprich.
